The route is around 150 miles distance with 6500 metres of ascent.

It begins and finishes at Wild Thyme cafe in the village of Braunton, looping out on to Exmoor, along the Bristol Channel coastline and back into Braunton.

The ride is a mixture of classic Exmoor riding and local trails with some linking back lanes. The route is as aimed at being a test of endurance rather then technical riding ability. That said there will be sections of singletrack riding so some experience of mountain biking on rural trails is a good idea.

The group start for the route is the 14th of April 2017 from Wild Thyme cafe in Braunton at 0930.

The basic loop for the course can be seen below. This is the final route.

With a mixture of beautiful moorland, wooded valleys, exposed cliff top trails and coastal riding the Braunton 150 should offer challenge, adventure and a lot of fun to those that give it a go.
